Before You Apply

  • Confirm your O.D degree is from an ODORBN-accredited institution
  • Check you have at least three years of post-NYSC clinical experience
  • Confirm you are in good standing with ODORBN
  • Decide which faculty matches your intended area of specialisation
  • Prepare scanned copies of your credentials and a passport photograph

What Training Involves

Residency runs to a minimum of four years. Part I is structured coursework and supervised clinical rotations. Part II is advanced posting, independent study and an original research dissertation defended before a panel of examiners. Training is demanding and is undertaken alongside clinical practice at accredited centres.
