Orthoptics trains the resident in the investigation and management of eye-movement and binocular vision disorders across all ages. The programme covers strabismus classification and measurement, amblyopia therapy, accommodative and vergence anomalies, nystagmus, diplopia arising from neurological causes, and the design and delivery of structured vision therapy programmes.
